Please read our terms and conditions carefully before booking your safari with us.

The purchase of any travel services offered by geemelsafaris is subject to the terms and conditions set out herein. Please read the following information carefully.

YOUR ATTENTION IS PARTICULARLY DRAWN TO:
Sections regarding Limitation of Liability, Arbitration, and Waivers, and your conduct.
1. Tour Contract

1.1. Trip Confirmation

To book a holiday (the “Tour”), you must complete our official booking form. Submitting this form constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and creates the contract between You and the Company (the “Tour Contract”).

1.2. Confirmation on Behalf of Other Travelers

By booking, you establish a contractual relationship for yourself and on behalf of all other passengers in your party. You are responsible for ensuring all travelers are advised of and accept these terms.

2. Payment

2.1. Tour Price

Your invoice details the total Tour Price. Payment terms are as follows, unless otherwise specified: (i) A 40% initial payment is due upon receiving the Trip Confirmation. (ii) The 60% balance is due no later than 120 days before departure.

3. Force Majeure & Changes

The Company is not liable for failures or delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (“Force Majeure Event”). This includes, but is not limited to: acts of God, floods, fires, government actions, war, terrorism, civil unrest, national emergencies, epidemics, pandemics, strikes, or failures of carriers and suppliers.

4. Cancellations by You

You may cancel your Tour at any time by providing written notice. Cancellation charges apply based on the number of days before departure. Standard Tours: 91+ days: 25% of Tour Price; 31-90 days: 60%; 30 days or less: 100%.

5. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE COMPANY BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, EXEMPLARY, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. THE COMPANY’S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AGGREGATE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU FOR THE TOUR. You acknowledge that travel involves inherent risks and you voluntarily assume full responsibility for these risks.

6. Your Obligations & Conduct

You must comply with all local laws and regulations. We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate your Tour if your behavior is disruptive, threatening, abusive, or puts anyone at risk, with no refund issued.

7. Passports and Visas

It is your responsibility to ensure your passport is valid for at least six (6) months after your return date and to obtain all necessary visas.

8. Mandatory Travel Insurance

It is a mandatory condition of booking that you have adequate travel insurance covering, at a minimum, health, trip cancellation, and medical repatriation for the entire duration of your Tour.
